One of the things I am most proud of as your Councilman, is tearing down the three drug-houses on Civic Center, and building the beautiful, new, Pala Vista Park in their place. A beautiful place for children and families to play and enjoy.

I’m proud to continue to prioritize purchasing new land for new parks. Will Rogers said, “Buy land…they ain’t making any more of the stuff!”

I believe in conserving today, green spaces for future residents of Vista. Soon, the City won’t be able to afford to purchase parcels of land the way we’re able to today. Rising values and disappearing green space mean we have to act now to leave a legacy of parks and greenery for the next generation.
